It makes me laugh.... Well, so does the picture, but the hat itself is a little silly. I'm going to make some adjustments and try again, but I think eventually I'll end up with a cute summer sunhat!

Hat, take 1
I haven't blogged much lately, because I've been sewing for my secret/anonymous sewing swap, so nothing can be posted. I've finished that up, though, and the other day I decided to make myself a hat. Just a simple bucket hat sort of thing - summer sun hat, etc. I took a pattern from Craft magazine (for a fused plastic rain hat, but same concept), and I based it off that, only I lined it. And here it is:
